Makinde endorses Ogundoyin's candidacy for 10th Assembly Speaker.

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has endorsed Debo Ogundoyin for the position of Speaker of the 10th House of Assembly.

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has expressed his support for Debo Ogundoyin to serve as the Speaker of the state’s 10th House of Assembly.

Ogundoyin is familiar with the position, having served as Speaker of the ninth assembly.

This endorsement was made public by Governor Makinde during a ceremony in the Ona Ara Local Government Area.

The event marked the launch of an initiative to restore electricity to several local communities, including Olorunda Ogunsola, Idi Obi, Karen, and the Jigan region.

The initiative was generously funded by Dotun Sanusi, a prominent Ibadan-based businessperson.

Gov. Makinde Appoints New PMS Chairman To Replace Auxiliary

 

In other news, Makinde has replaced Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi a.k.a. Auxiliary as the Chairman of the Park Management System (PMS) in the state with Alhaji Oluwatomiwa Omolewa.

Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the chief press secretary for the governor, disclosed the replacement in a statement issued on Sunday.

Alhaji Kasali Ajisafe Lawal was named as the new secretary of the PMS, according to the statement. Olanrewaju explained that the appointments are part of the state government's initiative to reorganize the PMS.

The statement reads, “Oyo State Government has announced Alhaji Oluwatomiwa Omolewa, former Park Management System (PMS) Secretary, as the new Chairman.
