Want ChatGPT access on your iPhone or iPad? Safari can always be used to visit the ChatGPT website of OpenAI whenever it is required. A more practical alternative is to configure a Siri-compatible shortcut. And instead of attempting to construct your own, you can download and install a few that have already been designed.
In my testing, I examined three distinct Siri shortcuts for ChatGPT: SiriGPT, ChatGPT Siri, and Siri Pro. All of them operated similarly to deliver ChatGPT's capabilities to the iPhone and iPad.

After the shortcut has been configured, it can be activated in a variety of methods. You can launch the Shortcuts app and select the shortcut's icon. You can add the shortcut to the Home screen, making it more accessible. Additionally, you can activate the shortcut by instructing Siri to do so.
1. Get API credentials
The initial stage is to acquire the required API keys from Open AI. These keys are used by a ChatGPT keyboard shortcut to transmit and receive requests to the ChatGPT service. The procedure for obtaining the keys is identical regardless of which ChatGPT shortcut you employ.
Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad and navigate to the Open AI platform page. If you do not already have an OpenAI account, click the Sign up icon. Otherwise, tap the Login icon and enter your credentials. Tap the hamburger icon with three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner, navigate to the bottom of the Settings menu, and select your profile. Select View API keys in the profile menu.
2. Generate a new private key
Tap the Create new secret key icon on the API keys screen. Tap Copy after depressing the key to select the entire string. Copy the key and insert it in a note. If you intend to test multiple ChatGPT shortcuts, return to the Open AI platform page, tap OK, and then tap Create new secret key to generate a second key. Repeat the copy and transfer operation.

3. Run SiriGPT
Tap the SiriGPT keyboard shortcut to launch SiriGPT. The first time you perform this action, you will be prompted to enable Speech Recognition. Tap Accept.

You can either type or verbalize your request. When prompted to connect to api.openai.com, tap Allow. The response is then displayed and spoken by SiriGPT. Tap Complete at any time. Tap Done to end a conversation session. Tap Ask Again to submit a second query.

How to activate a shortcut via Siri
Siri shortcuts are an even more efficient alternative. Simply state, "Hey Siri [name of shortcut]." If Siri does not comprehend that you want it to run a shortcut because the name is confusing, you should rename the shortcut.
To do so, select Rename from the Shortcuts app menu by pressing down on it. Choose a name that will not conflict with another command. Try contacting Siri again. Make a verbal or written request and wait for a response.
