The daughter of the actress declared her mother's death on Facebook on Thursday, stating that the actress passed away on Wednesday evening.

Before her death, the late actress reportedly suffered from ill health, which caused her to take a long break  from the film industry.

Sidikat Odunkanwi, professionally known as Iyabo Oko, a veteran Nollywood actress, has reportedly passed away at the age of 62.

Odukanwi was born in Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State on November 15, 1960.

She performed under numerous stage names, including "Iyabo Oko", "Apoti Aje", and "Sisi Mama."
